What is Gift Aid?
Gift Aid provides a great opportunity for Action for Tinnitus Research donors to increase the value of their donations to charity by up to 28%.

Who can give with Gift Aid?
Any UK taxpayer wishing to make a donation can use Gift Aid to maximise their donations.

By selecting 'Gift Aid' each time you make a payment, Action for Tinnitus Research will reclaim the tax from the Inland Revenue and add it to the donation.

Donors who pay a higher rate of income tax can claim the difference between the higher rate of 40% and the basic rate of 22% on the gross amount. If you pay a lower rate (10% or 20%), GiveNow.org can still claim back 28p for each �1 you donate, provided you pay enough tax to cover the claim. With effect from the tax year 2003/2004, donations can be offset against any unused tax paid in the previous year.
